Integrator for accounting software
The chart of accounts is the deliverable, not the connector
We wire accounting into your SaaS, ERP or billing stack: each invoice and each payment pushes the ledger entry, the firm stays the system of record.
- Accounting connectors in production
- balanced batches
- UAT with the firm
What is an accounting software integrator and why wire it into your platform?
An accounting software integrator wires your platform (SaaS, ERP, billing, marketplace) to the software the firm or CFO runs: invoices, entries, third parties, matching. You do it so a business event (invoice issued, payment received, credit note) creates the ledger entry with no monthly export and no parallel spreadsheet. The firm stays the system of record; your product stays the field tool. The work is the product / account / journal mapping, not gluing two APIs together.
The accounting software we integrate

Sage
The most requested. Sage 100, X3 and the rest of the range, depending on your install.

Pennylane
The online practice. Invoices, entries and settlement matching via API.

EBP
The software of small and mid-size firms, when books still live close to operations.

Cegid
The French vendor for practices and mid-market groups, to wire into your business.
What a monthly CSV does not catch
The export holds for a while. Once volume, lettering or e-invoicing require it, a file dropped in a folder becomes the risk.
We export a CSV every month and we hope
Documents leave as they happen, with the right journal and the right account. Close no longer waits on a file forgotten on a desk.
Settlements never match on their own
We carry a reference end to end from the payment to the entry. Matching follows the flow, gaps go into a queue.
The chart of accounts and the product do not speak the same language
We set a mapping dictionary: product, VAT, account, journal. That mapping decides the quality of the entries.
History backfill breaks the books in progress
We replay history in a dated perimeter, with a balance check per batch. Nothing is pushed to production without that net.
What each accounting product actually involves

Cegid
French vendorsThe French vendor for practices and mid-market groups. Several product lines, several access modes. We stay deliberately at the level of the need (invoices, entries, third parties) until the sheet for your Cegid product is opened at scoping. Inventing routes here would help no one.
- Practice or mid-market, depending on the line
- Third parties and documents to sync
- Access confirmed at scoping

EBP
SMEsSoftware still very present in small and mid-size firms, often run close to operations. No detailed technical sheet here: the integration is judged on the documents to push, the existing chart of accounts and the real access mode of your install, not on a generic API catalogue.
- Operational documents into the books
- Chart of accounts respected
- Scope settled at scoping

Pennylane
Online practiceAn online practice with an API designed to push invoices, receipts and settlements as they happen. Useful when your accountant is already on Pennylane and the monthly export has become the bottleneck. History backfill and matching are scoped early: that is where the project slips, not on the first POST.
- Invoices pushed without an export
- Settlement matching
- Status followed through to the practice

Sage
Most requestedThe integrator reference in France, and the case where the product line matters as much as the brand: Sage 100 is not Sage X3. The integration is designed with your installer and your chart of accounts, not against them. Business objects, journals and the balance check are settled at scoping, before the quote.
- Entries and sales documents synced
- Accounting mapping set before the code
- Balance check per batch
What accounting changes in your platform
Invoice created in the product, booked at the firm
An invoice issued in your SaaS or ERP lands in Sage, Pennylane, EBP or Cegid with the right journal and VAT. No batch forgotten in close week.
Payment captured in the funnel, matched without Excel
A Stripe, SEPA or card collection carries its reference through to the entry. Matching follows the flow; gaps leave in a queue, not in a parallel spreadsheet.
Credit note or return that reverses the entry
A refund, credit note or return triggers the reverse entry from your product. Support and accounting share the same event, with no PDF hunted in a mailbox.
Multi-entity from one system
Several companies or client files fed from the same platform. A control trial balance surfaces the gap before close, not three weeks later in an email.
What it changes in your product
We do not replace the accountant. We make invoice, payment and credit note live in your platform, with the dictionary set with the firm.
The firm no longer retypes what the product already billed
Documents leave the product, structured. The firm reviews and advises; it no longer retypes the monthly CSV.
The CFO reads the same trial balance as the product
What is billed in the platform is what is booked. Close becomes a control again, not a hunt for the gap.
Ops no longer export “for accounting”
The CSV ritual disappears. The business invoices and collects in the product; the connector pushes to the firm's software.
History backfill does not pollute the open year
History is replayed from the system, in dated inspectable batches. Not an Excel dump into the open year.
What we have shipped, and why it transfers here
The method an accounting connector forces
Chart of accounts
Product touchpoints, product / account / journal dictionary, VAT, matching key.
Deliverable: field dictionaryBalanced entries
Balance control in the connector, batch retry, no silent patch.
Deliverable: balance ruleFirm UAT
Invoice → payment → credit note journeys, journal sign-off by the firm.
Deliverable: UAT minutesClose control
Alerts on rejected batch and trial-balance gap, from production.
Deliverable: control boardWhat nobody tells you before you sign
The product line matters more than the brand
Sage 100 is not Sage X3, and Cegid is not a single product either. Access mode is confirmed on your install, not on a marketing page.
The chart of accounts is the real deliverable
Without a product / account / journal dictionary, the connector produces unreadable entries. That mapping is done with the practice, not alone in the code.
An unbalanced entry is an incident
We do not push an “approximately” batch. The balance check lives in the connector, and a rejected batch is retried, it is not fixed by hand behind the accountant's back.
History backfill is not an import
Dates, journals already filled, duplicates: a backfill is split and checked. An improvised initial dump pollutes the current period.
What we measure on an accounting project
Accounting software integration: your questions
We wire it into your product touchpoints: invoice issued, payment received, credit note, multi-entity. First the product / VAT / account / journal / matching-key mapping with the firm. Then a connector that pushes balanced batches, with retry and idempotency so the same document is never created twice. Finally the return path: status, matching, trial-balance gap. The real difficulty is not the API call; it is the dictionary and the agreement with the firm.
It depends on the touchpoints to wire, the software, the product line and the state of the chart of accounts. Pushing invoices from your SaaS to Pennylane costs far less than a full Sage chain with payment matching and history backfill. Time spent with the firm on the mapping weighs as much as the development. We scope the perimeter up front and give a firm estimate.
Certification is a useful label for rolling out the software itself. To connect Sage, EBP or Cegid to a custom application, what counts is connector experience and rigour on the accounting mapping. We claim no official partner status: we work as the development team on the integration, with your installer when they are already in place.
Pennylane is an online practice with a relatively homogeneous public API: invoices, entries, matching. Sage is a family of products, and the connector depends on the installed line. The right choice is not technical, it is your accountant's and your organisation's. We integrate both; we do not make you change tools to simplify our work.
By carrying a reference from the moment the invoice is issued, then waiting for it on the settlement. Aggregating collection, fee and refund into a net amount loses the information at the moment the accountant needs it. We push the split, then a periodic consistency check flags the gap. An entry is not repaired behind the practice's back.
Which software actually holds your books?
30 minutes with you and, if possible, the firm: where accounting enters your platform (billing, payments, support), installed line, what can flow as it is issued.
