No-code
No-code refers to tools that let you build a functional application (website, form, automation, internal tool) without writing code, by visually assembling pre-built blocks. It lets you validate an idea or cover a simple need very quickly and cheaply.
An internal team might build a customer request tracker with Airtable or Bubble in a few days, with no developer involved, just to test whether the need is real before investing further. It's also a solid option for a founder who wants to validate an MVP with early users before raising funds or commissioning custom development. The key is spotting the moment the no-code tool turns from an accelerator into a constraint.
The costliest mistake is letting a no-code tool become business-critical without anticipating its limits: data volume, fine-grained customization, specific integrations. Many teams get stuck against the platform's constraints right as the product starts gaining traction, and migrating to custom development at that point costs more than if the switch had been planned from the start. No-code is a great starting point, rarely a final destination.
