Agentic AI
Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that can not only answer a question, but plan a sequence of actions, use tools (CRM, email, APIs), and adapt based on outcomes. Where a chatbot waits for a prompt and replies, an agentic system pursues a goal until it completes it, with reasoning and execution loops.
The term matters as soon as a company wants to automate an end-to-end business process: qualify a lead, check stock, generate a quote and send it, without a human validating every step. At Fragments Studio, it's the conceptual frame behind most of our AI agent projects: we don't ship a chat demo, we ship a system that acts inside existing tools, with a defined scope and guardrails.
Confusing agentic AI with a chatbot is the most common business mistake. A conversational demo that « sounds smart » does not prove an agent can act reliably in production. Before talking agentic, clarify allowed actions, mandatory human approvals, and success metrics, otherwise the project stays a chat prototype with no operational impact.
